You’ll be “Chili” (Unless your slow cooker is full)

 

This warm winter favorite will surely fire up their appetites.

This thick hearty chili is sure to remove all the chill from your bones! This chili recipe is delicious, easy, and quick to prepare. Made in the morning it will cook all day in the slow cooker, filling your house with the hearty aroma, it will be ready in the evening.

What you will need:

1 pound of ground chicken or ground beef

1 12 oz frozen 3 pepper and onion (chopped)

3 (14 oz) cans of diced tomatoes

1 can (15 oz) of tomatoes sauce

1 can of chili starter

1 teaspoon of Worcestershire

1 teaspoon of sugar

¼ teaspoon of cumin

½ teaspoon of Smokey paprika

1 teaspoon of chili powder

½ cup of barbeque sauce

 

Directions:

Fry meat on stovetop until brown. Drain off the fat.

Then add all ingredients into the crock-pot cook on high for 3 or 4 hours.

 

When chili is done cook up some pasta, (I use ditalini pasta) then put pasta in the bottom of bowl pour chili over top.

You can also add a little sour cream and a sprinkle with cheddar.

 

Suggestions:

You can serve chili with toasted cheese or peanut butter sandwiches.

Bake up some cornbread, dinner rolls or biscuits.

Maybe a salad or bake up some fries to make chili cheese fries.

Warm up some tortilla chips to scoop up the chili or make some nachos topped with some chili.
